Arrived during a downpour Friday 1pm. A member of staff must have seen us approaching, opened the door and cheeky greeted us. It was warm with a cosy log fire. Although a big mosh are it somehow didn’t seem crowded. Had a fabulous Carvery Roast. They let my hubby try a taste of the beef, as he’s fussy about tough meat. It was the best tenderest beef we’d had for a long time, I had pork and it was lovely too. A good range of veg and accompaniments, everything nice and hot as were the plates. The youths hire puddings were perfect too. Much the best and cheapest Carvery I’ve had. 😊👍🏼

Lovely Crab Thermidor and Peach Melba Creme Brûlée, a totally enjoyable meal and very attentive staff, would thoroughly recommend.
